We are in the process of implementing MSProject across
4 different BUs each having their own project servers.
Our Director has asked how we can create cross BU
dependencies.
We have been able to create external links between
projects within our own server. But how do we create links
between 2 different servers?
In the project training manuals I found this information
The format of the external link is either:
pathname\filename\task_id
or
pathname\filename\project_name\task_id
or
DSN\project_name\task_id
But I don't know what I would use for another server?
Any suggestions?
