creating desktop shortcut

on some websites.. when you Create a DeskTop ShortCut... the ShortCut is a
Picture or maybe it should be called an Icon....
How do i setup my WebSite so that when and if someone does create a
shortcut...
i can make be an Icon of my choice.... say a Picture.. or maybe just plain
Text???
