Creating drag and drop search folder?

W

wayne.yahoo

I have users who want to create search folders or views that they can
manually drag and drop the contacts into. They do not necessarily
have the same relevant data that they can creat a filter on but would
like to be able to just create these on the fly. Any help would be
appreciated.

Great idea but I can't think of how to implement it... Each view or search
folder is based on some criteria that determines which records to display.
If BCM had multiple address books available you could drag/copy from one to
another.

I'll keep pondering...

Take care,
Lon

I agree that with my client that this has validity but have been
unable to think of a solution, if you come up with anything let me
know and thanks for the response.

We use categories to do this. Create a category, even a temporary one, and
drag the contacts into it. Then you can sort by category and see them.
