Creating drop down menus

Does anyone know how to create drop down menus in excel? e.g. to be able to click on a heading which produces a list and then select from the list.

You might try:

- select the column(s) you want to filter.
- then click on Data/Filter/AutoFilter

I've found using the AutoFilter feature is sensitive to blank row
though... so watch out for them.
