Creating Graphs with Multiple lines

My boss's boss has tasked him with coming up with a graph of internal safety
hazard inspections that we perform. He wants a graph that shows each
Department's Report Date vs Cleared Date (separate Report/Cleared sections,
by Department, for the past 2 weeks) on hazards that we find. I've been
unable to create this graph using the ACCESS 2000 Graph Wizard. The tables
that I'm using to store this data is:
HAZARDS1:Table with the following fields:
ID (Primary key) Text, Stores the ID of the individual Hazard in
yy-ddd(julian date)-nnn(incremental number)
REPORTDATE (Date/Time, Short Date)
RAC (Risk Assement Code assigned to Hazard)
HAZARD (Text, Individual Hazard)
DATE_CLEARED (Date/Time, Short Date)
TC/2K_JSN (Job entered to clear hazard if necessary)
HAZ SUBTYPE
POC
POCPhone
INSPECTORS_ID (Lookup to Individuals doing inspections)
LOCATIONS_ID (Lookup to Spaces being inspected)

INSPECTORS: Tabel with the following fields
INSPTR
ID (Primary Key, AUTO)

LOCATIONS: Table with the following fields
LOC
FRAMES
DEPT
DIV
HAZ TYPE (Noun name of space)
ID (Primary Key, AUTO)

Dept/Div Lookup Table: Table with the following fields
DEPTCREW (Lookup for DEPT in LOCATIONS Table)
FULL NAME
Divisions
DeptCount

The graph I'm thinking about would have each Department listed across the
bottom (horizontal axis) with Week 1 and Week 2 Report Dates / Cleared Dates
bars for the past 2 weeks. Week 1 and Week 2 dates would be Monday to Monday
and imbedded in the bar of the Report Date / Cleared Date bars. The Vertical
axis would be the count of inspections done/cleared during the report period
in question. Is this wishful thinkiing? Can anybody help me?

Have you considered creating a query to retrieve the needed data and
exporting the results to Excel to chart it?

Create the query for the graph first. If you can't create the query, you
won't have success with the graph. Once you have the query, it is a matter
of accepting the query as the row source for the graph.
