Creating Installation packages

Hello All,
I have a split database using UNC naming conventions. I also use Tony Toews
Auto FE Updater http://www.autofeupdater.com/

I have a client who wants a CD to install Access Runtime files, my front end
database, my backend database and Tony's FE Updater. Will also need to
configure Tony's FE updater INI file.

Do I have to purchase some thousand dollar software package to do this? Are
there companies that can do this for me?

For initial installation I have had good results with Install Creator, which
has a free version:

I'm not sure I understand the full scope of what you need to do, but if it is
a matter of adding several files to a folder, Install Creator free version
can do it. If you are installing to several folders you may need to create
separate installation files for each folder.

For updating the FE Updater should be fine if it has been working in the past.
I use an Access database to run a VB script and launch the main application.
I use User Level Security, and launch the main application in a way that
inserts the Windows login name as the user name, and joins a custom workgroup
file. This login name is also the name used in the Workgroup file. I have
not been able to use Tony's Updater utility to accomplish all I need. I
think it is possible, but I could not sort it out. I haven't looked at it in
a while, so perhaps my understanding has advanced to the point where I could
figure it out, but for now the system I am using works well. In the interest
of full disclosure, a computer science student who was working with me one
summer a couple of years ago came up with the system I am using now.
