Creating Multiple Graphs at a Time

M

Matt Carney

Hi,

I was have large data sets that are very simple, but are time consuming to
make multiple graphs that I need. I need to make a new sheet for each graph
which is a single date. Such as I have April 24-28 on a single table, but I
need to break up the graphs into each separate day. The graphs are very
simple themselves, just basic time against temperature. Is there any way
that I can make all of these graphs at once without having to highlight the
values for each day and make each graph individually.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Matt,

Without knowing more it sounds like you will need a VBA solution. One would
also think of Pivot Tables/Pivot Charts but they give you one chart from
which you can pick to look at a given subset of data. One would also think
of applying Data, Filter AutoFilter and charting the visible cells, however,
again there is just one chart for which you are varying the choice of charted
data.

In other word, Excel does not have a feature to make many charts from one
data set with one command.
