creating new table sructure

I have 15000 lines in a sales table in fields called NYsales and PAsales.

How can I get the data into two fields, one called location (for NY or PA)
and one called sales (for the actual dollar value in the field.

Create the two new fields, then use an UPDATE QUERY to modify the fields
accordingly. See this tutorial for help on making an Update Query:
