Creating Outlook New Message

Every time one of my users clicks on New to begin a message, she gets a box
on her screen basically saying another program is trying to access her
address book - does she want to allow it to do so and that it might be a
virus. Is there any way to find out what program it is? We are on Outlook
2002 SP-1

Sue, thank you very much for this. I think you may be exactly correct. She
does have Adobe PDF Maker on her workstation. Now, if I follow the
instructions, will she still have what appears to be a tab to PDF Maker in
Outlook?

Another problem she has is not being able to Send on Behalf of her manager.
All permission settings are correct in Outlook, she was able to Send on
Behalf Of then it stopped working - could this also be having an effect on
that?

I'm going to predict (because you neglected to say) that you use Word as
your email editor. I'm also going to predict (but with less certainty) that
you have Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Acrobat Reader) installed. You have a
couple of choices: 1) use the Outlook editor to compose your messages. 2)
Remove the PDFMaker add-in. See

Brian, you are correct, she does use Word as her email editor. She has both
Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat Writer. You sent me the same link
that Sue Mosher sent in an effort to solve the error that another program is
trying to access her address book. When I followed the path to Add-Ins,
there was nothing there and no checkmark to remove. I then followed the
instructions to change the registry and that did the trick (regarding the
message). But, she still cannot Send on Behalf of her manager??? I know her
permissions are in order.
