Creating pdf from Word doc with NO BORDERS

Hello,
When I print to my HP printer the doc comes out just fine with no borders. When I print to pdf I get a white border all around. Is there a setting so I don't see the white border? It is especially important because I have a line across the top, that I want to go all the way across. I am using Word 2008 on a Mac and Acrobat 7.0 Professional. Thanks in advance, Diana

I *think* the trick is to select a printer that can print to the edge
before printing to PDF. Since you have such a machine, it will be easy
to check. Make sure the document margins and page size are the same as
a doc that prints as you want it when sent to the printer.

OS X sneakily uses pdf internally to prepare pages for printing, so it
*must* be doable if your printer can print to the edge.
