Creating ppt templates with multiple backgrounds

Hey

I am creating a template using about 15 different backgrounds. I am ok with creating it but it is using a huge amount of memory. Other than making sure the images are relatively lo-res does anyone know a way of reducing the template memory size?

Use JPG images and experiment with the compression/quality settings.

You can usually find a balance point that gives you a big reduction in file size
w/o producing visible compression nastiness.

Be sure to bring the images in via Insert, Picture, From File rather than
copy/pasteing.
