Creating professional looking reports

I have an Access db that I use to print and/or send reports to cusomers. I
try to make them as aestetic as possible but they always just seem to be
missing something. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make my access
reports look a little more professional or shoudl I be using an external
software program to do this?
