Creating rules in Outlook 2003

I am using Outlook 2003 (SP1) and when I to create a rule with my mail it
says this:

One or more rules could not be uploaded to Exchange server and have been
deactivated.

Any ideas?

How many rules do you have? Exchange can only store about 30-40, depending
on the total size of all rules.
