creating (........) to fill in

Is there a way to automate chatacter insertion (such
as .....) from left to right between two text entries, as
in a table of contents.
i.e.
Monday........Chicken
Tuesday.........Steak
Wednesday.........Ham

I need the left and right text entries to stay justified,
and the characters, (...) (***) or whatever to fill.

Use tabs with a leader. To set it up, select Tabs from the Format menu.
