creation of a visio from excel spreadsheet via VB automation

[Visio Automation with VB]

I need to create a pert chart from data in an Excel Spreadsheet.
Can anyone share basic automation code and basic methodlogy with me?

Hi Tony,

You're kind of asking for two whole books with that short question, but here
are some pointers.

For Excel automation, start with the macro recorder to get a feel for how
Excel code looks and works. Visio has a macro recorder too.

For a fairly simple Visio tutorial on how to programmatically create
