Critical Field doing critically

Hi!

When I open a project it shows some tof he tasks being critical, when I programmatically (OLEDB Provider) display the same task using the field TaskCritical it shows it is not critical. Whether this is the bug in the product?

I would like MS-Project specialists to workaround this scenario.

There is a setting (tools menu/options/calculation) tab which allows you to
configure how tasks are displayed. Perhaps the settings you have there are
different from the default. True critical tasks have 0 or less "total
slack". Rather than relying on the formatting or the field I would check the
total slack for the task.
