I have recieved at least 20 eamils saying it is from Microsfot with a
Critical Update.
I have not opened any.

Real or some sales pitch?

Thanks

Not likely real or a sales pitch. Phishing attempt most likely. Check the
headers of the message. Do they match the source e-mail address?

Microsoft does not send out unsolicited update notifications. You did
well not to open them, as they will most likely lead you to some malware.

If you view them in your junk mail folder, you will see that all the links
are to third party websites where you will get malware, spyware, trojans,
keyloggers, etc.
