Crop Marks

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) I'm using Word Mac 2008, and need to print out a document as a PDF with crop/printer marks.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Thanks for responding.

I tried to do what you suggest, but the options are grayed out. I also tried going to Tools > Print Production > Add Printer Marks, but they still do not appear in the document.

Any other suggestions?

Sorry, don't know. It always works for me. Don't use often, but when
used it works. Try changing the "settings" at the upper left of the
dialogue box (Acrobat Pro Ver 8). No obvious reason why these options
should be greyed out.

I do not see Menu: Tools > Print Production on Adobe Acrobat Version 8.

Check again in Adobe Acrobat Pro's Help how to make this work. Perhaps
there is a switch to turn it on. And could check with the Adobe support
forum why Adobe Acrobat Professional is not working.

For you, I used Google to search for "advanced printing tab greyed
acrobat professional" and found
http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=757. Sort of
related. Suggest you search more postings there or ask there.

I also see http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/faq.html at the bottom
of the page crop marks discussed.

Word isn't a page layout program, so there really isn't any availability of
crop marks, registration marks or bleed/slug areas. The closest you'll get
is in Word> Preferences - View, tick the box for Text Boundaries.

What version of Acrobat are you using? In Acrobat Pro 9 [9.2.0] the Print
Production features are in the Advanced Menu & seem to work fine here.
