using PPT 2003, i have cropped images and then compressed the images ensuring
the delete cropped areas box is ticked. when the image "compress" the deleted
areas reappear on the slide.
the extra annoying factor is that this does not happen for every image in
the ppt, just some of them
images have been inseted using the "inset picture from file" option through
Insert menu, and files are jpg
