Cropped image does not crop.

I have a CAD drawing as an image inserted into a visio drawing. When I
select the crop tool the image crops. At the same time a line of text
attached to the bottom of the CAD drawing rides up. You cannot select, edit,
crop, delete find properties to this line of text. No matter how you crop the
drawing this text always follows the drawing around. If you make the CAD
drawing bigger, this text moves to the bottom, even beyond the page extents.

It is not a format or footer.
