Cropping in Word 2002

I want to crop the edge of an image but the crop line jumps farther in than I
want. How do I crop just a "sliver" from the edge of an image?

Try pressing Alt while dragging; this overrides the grid.

If you press and hold the Alt key while you drag using the Crop tool, you can
crop to any size.

In general, you can use the Alt key to override the grid – this also works,
for example, when resizing an image or moving a tab.
