Crosstab Reports?

Is it possible to create a crosstab report without using
a crosstab query? I want to take a table of data and turn
it 180 degrees so the data is laid out across the page
under date headings. Date is a drop down field in the
original table.

Is there a reason you don't want to use a crosstab query?
