Cry For Help: Stuck With "Copy In Progress"

Hi Folks

A desperate cry for help. I update a large access database by editing and adding
records in Table View not ideal but works fine.

Now out of the blue I can't paste records. The status bar at the bottom of the
screen sticks with the "Copy in Progress Bar" froxen at 5%

Tried everything i.e compress and repair but nothing works. A web and newsgroup
search indicates I'm not the first to have this problem but I can't find an
answer

Any help so very much appreciated

Create a new, empty database. Then, Import the tables from the broken one.
