Crystal Reports or Access' Reports

Hi all,

I am told to use Crystal Reports in the near future. I have done some
research on Crystal Reports and I still want to know what is Crystal Reports'
advantage over Access' Reports

I am told to use Crystal Reports in the near future.

I have seen some impressive work done with Crystal Reports. It was done for
a website where it was not possible to run Access Reports. The creator of
those Reports much preferred to work with Access Reports in the Access
environment, however.

I have done some research on Crystal Reports and
I still want to know what is Crystal Reports'
advantage over Access' Reports

In any situation where you have the choice, that is, in the Access
environment, I am unaware of any advantage that Crystal has over Access.
Every developer I've known who has used both enough to be comfortable with
them has strongly preferred Access' own Reports. I believe that is going to
be even more the case, now, considering the enhancements to Reporting in
Access 2007.

Crystal can be used, however, in other environments... classic VB, or
DotNet, or in web-based applications where Access Reports cannot.
