D Debra Dalgleish Sep 5, 2005 #2 I don't know why the programs behave differently, but if you have Excel 2000, or later version, you can collect items on the Office clipboard, and retrieve them later. To see the clipboard, select a cell, and press Ctrl+C (the copy shortcut) twice.
