I reverse engineered a SQL Server 2005 database - after much messing and
fussing due to the fact Visio 2003 doesn't play well with SQL2K5.

I then went ahead and saved the diagram as a web page. When I view it, the
menu bar to the left says to "CTRL + click a shape to see details". I've CTRL
+ clicked until my mouse was smoking, yet nothing happens...

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Best regards

Anthony -
The Database Model solution shapes do not store the modeling information in
"Custom Properties", unfortunately.
Assuming, as John says, that you used the Save As Web Page function, and
are viewing the HTML output in a browser, the only information that you
will see when using Ctrl-Click is Custom Properties, and will not include
any of the Model information for Tables, etc.

By the way, to see an example of how the Custom Properties view is
leveraged, you can create an Organization Chart and save as a web page.
The OrgChart uses Custom Properties quite a bit, and will be a good example.
