Ctrl + End takes me to no data

Sherry

On some of my spread sheets, when I press Ctrl + End, I
am taken clear down on my spread sheet where there isn't
any data. I have highlighted all the rows between the
end of my data, and where Ctrl + End takes me, and
deleted the rows. Also, I highlighted the rows and
selected edit, clear, all. Nothing has solved the
problem. Can anyone explain this?

Sherry,

Don't highlight the cells between your data and where control end took you
but in stead between your data and excels last row (65536) and delete.
Also : save the file after you deleted these rows (and if necessary : these
columns)

Start by selecting the *entire* row *under* (past) your last row of data.
Then do:
<Ctrl> <Shift> <DownArrow>
This should take you to the very bottom of the WS, to row 65536, and select
everything in-between.
If it doesn't, do it again, until you see row 65536.
Now, right click in the selection and choose <Delete>.

While you're at it, you might as well do the same for your columns, using
the <Ctrl> <Shift> <RightArrow>, until you see column IV.

After deleting both, you must now <Save> the WS before this "resizing" will
take effect.
Older versions of XL demand a "Close" & "Reopen" before you can see the
benefits of the resize.
Ctrl> <End> shouild now take you to your "true" end of data.
