Hi all,
In previous versions you had the option of creating an olap cube when you
created a database link to for instance an Access query with more than 65000
records.
The big advantage of the cube was performance.
Now, in Excel 2007 when I try to analyse a query with 2 million records from
Access you don't have the option of creating an olap cube. I find this
strange since there is a new category of worksheet functions Cube.
These functions seem to require a cub file.
So, my question is where in Excel 2007 do I create the cub file? Or has this
option been taken out?
The functions seem to be working when you refer to a cub file that was
created in Excel 2003!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
