We get the following errors when trying to build the OLAP cubes in
EPM2007. I searched this group and found only one brief message from
September last, with no usable solution. Has this problem been tackled
in more detail in the mean time?

Are the AS Services on a different server to the PS2007 application - I
expect so?
Check out this KB http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc197552.aspx.
I had a lot of grief with this a couple of weeks ago, but it turned out that
restarting the AS service, followed by the PS Queues worked. also recreated
teh AS repository DB from scratch and reassigned permissions etc.

Thanks, we'll give it a try. I'm not the techie myself (just the
functional consultant) but yes, there's a lot of different locations
and networks involved, as well as a Citrix environment.

Well, we've found the error and it's pretty lame. When configuring the
SQL Analysis Services to enable repository use, you have to enter an
SQL query as explained on p. 191 of Dale and Gary's book (Implementing
and administering...). Turns out this code is case sensitive and we
wrote [olapObjects] instead of [OlapObjects] on line 1.

Hope this helps somebody in the future.
