Cube build process Keeps on failing

Had a few issues with the cube build process but now back at the following
error:

===== Process Completed =====
[18/03/2008 10:12] Failed to build the OLAP cubes. Error: Analysis Services
session failed with the following error: Failed to connect to the Analysis
Services server ServerName. Error: The connection string to repository needs
to be specified in the 9.0 server properties (see <DSO>...</DSO> section in
msmdsrv.ini file from Analysis Services 9.0).

Any Ideas?

You must configurate the DSO properties from Analisys Services.
Log in in de analisis services console, edit properties, select advanced
features checkbox and configure the DSO properties.

Its about four items you must configure.

bye, Robert.

We had a similar (possibly the same it was awhile ago) error. We had to set
the DSO\LocksDirectory and DSO\RemoteLocksDirectory to the hidden OLAP
repository directory (ours was \\SERVER\MsOLAPRepository2005$\). This is set
be right-clicking your analysis server name in the SQL Server Mangement
console and clicking properties. In the General section check "Show Advanced
(All) Properties" and you'll see both the DSO\LocksDirectory and
DSO\RemoteLocksDirectory.
