Cumbersome Combo Box

I have an Access 2000 database with a Customers-Order form scenario identical
with the Orders form in Access’s Northwind (NW) Database. Whereas the NW
database has about 91 customers that are accessed from the “Bill To:†combo
box, I have several thousands of customers. I find it very cumbersome in my
database to access all my thousands of customers from a combo box. Does
anyone have any clever ideas on how to streamline my Customers look-up to
avoid having to scroll through thousands of Customers in a combo box to find
the customer I want? Thank-you. Denny G.

Set the Auto Expand property of the combo box to yes. It will allow the user
to start typing and will show the closest match each time you enter another
character. Then when the customer you want is highlighted, move to the next
control.

Thanks, Latuu. I am aware of the Auto Expand property. I was hoping for
something a little more exotic and to exhaust any other possibility,
including, but not limited to the built-in Filter-By-Form feature.

If you want exotic, hire a stripper :)

(sorry)

I really don't know any other way to do what you want.
