Current mode of calculation in Excel

We have one PC that seems to open all Excel spreadsheets
with the Mode of Calculation set to manual. Have reviewd
Microsoft Knowledge Base article #214395. The sugeestions
within seem to work on all other PCs except for the
previously mentioned unit.

Any suggestions or hints are greatly appreciated.

Might be as simple as making copies of the excel
worksheets, then reload the Excel software.

Excel sets calculation mode from the first workbook opened.
Check personal.xls and Xlstart for a workbook being opened that is in manual
mode.
