In PWA (2003), a resource has two options when reviewing their task list:
Current Tasks, and All Tasks.
The All Tasks display is a pain since the list of "All Tasks" grows
continually larger over time, making the review of the list ever more
difficult.
The Current Tasks display is better, but regularly causes problems when
people review entries from prior days and think time is missing because
recently completed tasks have disappeared from the list (even time they may
have charged time earlier today if one PM has already approved and processed
updates).
Why can't I have a display of ACTIVE tasks?
Active Tasks would be the present "Current Tasks" AND any task that has time
charged in the period I am viewing. When viewing Active tasks, I could
navigate back through prior periods in my task list and always see what I
charged my time to, WITHOUT having to wade through the hundreds of tasks that
would be visible in the "All Tasks" display.
Would anyone else find such a view valuable?
