Mike H.
I am currently stuck in a situation where I have a large
number of message items (~1000) sitting in a message as
attachments. When I try to move them to a mail folder,
Outlook instead creates a new message, and attachs the
items to the new message.
Whenever I select a large group of items from one of my
Exchange Server folders to move them to a personal folder,
when I select the "Move To Folder" option, Outlook asks me
if I really want to create an Item. If I click "No", I'm
back where I started. If I click "Yes", I end up with a
mail message containing all those items as attachments.
If I then select the attachments and try to move them into
the target folder, Outlook creates a new mail message
containing all those items as attachments.
This is XP SP1, Office XP SP2. This "Create an Item" thing
seems to be new. I don't recall this happening a month or
so ago.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
