Cursor goes back

I'm typing ia text using word 2003 and sometimes the cursor goes back several
lines and continues inserting from the new position.

This is makes the edition complex. Can anyone help me?

Are you using a laptop? If so try decreasing the sensitivity of your touch
pad. If you brush it the cursor may jump and occasionally the vibrations of
typing cause it to jump as well. Usually when it does it jumps to the
location of the mouse pointer. If you continue to have difficult then use a
wireless mouse and disable the touch pad. That's what I had to do with my
last laptop the issue was so bad.
