Word will from time to time have the cursor disapear from
the screen. To even access the comand bar you have to use
the ALT "F" key etc. options to save and close your work.
Restarting windows without restarting the machine does not
correct the problem. I looked for a hide cursor option and
found none that was checked. Only restarting the machine
and then restarting word will allow the cursor to be again
seen. This can happen anytime, and with or wihtout other
programs running. There are days that Word will work fine
without losing the cursor. I am running Windows XP PRO and
Word in Office 2000 Small Business Edition.
