Everytime I use outlook or word the cusrosr jumps around. i am not touching
the scroll pad when this happens. Any ideas

I have two problems. One is the same as Roger's. The other is more serious.
When I am editing text in Outlook or Word if I want to delete one letter, the
cursor will not allow me to replace that letter. Rather it starts immediatly
to delete the letters after the one I want to replace.
Any ideas?

Press the Insert key once to toggle from overtype to insert mode.
