Cursor location on New Document in Word

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Whenever I open a new document in Word 2008, my cursor in in the center of the page in print layout view and I cannot move it to the top of the page no matter what I do. How do I fix this so I can type normally?

check the screen shot above Format menu > Document> Layout and make sure the item I have highlighted is not checked. Highlight and check the item that shows the check mark (top).

You could have set to center, to type a Title page in a Report?

Opps I have the wrong item Highlighted I should have had *Centered*
Highlighted.
