Easiest way would be to go to Tools>Options>Edit and checkmark "fixed deimal
places" and set to 2.

Otherwise divide 1234 by 100 after the fact.

Enter 100 in an empty cell then Copy that cell.

Select the other cell with 1234 and Paste Special>Divide>OK>Esc.

Others have posted that you can change 1234 into 12.34 by formatting.

You would still have 1234 as a value no matter how you format it.
