custom colors appear black during slide show

This only happens on a random basis, but the custom color
yellow that I used for the template sometimes appears
black when viewing the presentation as a slide show.

The only thing I could think that could be a problem is
RAM? There is a sizable audio file attached to this pps
file.

any ideas?

It could also be that you need to update your video driver, lower hardware
acceleration, and update to the current version of DirectX.

we have already tried your suggestions and the problem
keeps happening... actually it's the entire background
that appears black, not just the yellow custom color.
they are using the powerpoint viewer to play the pps file,
we updated that to the 2003 and apparently the problem got
worse with the newer version of the software.
we're baffled!

btw, thank you sonia for your response. i had actually
found your wonderful and very helpful web-site when i
started this project, and i am grateful for your help on
this!
