custom default PWA gantt timescale

Going to PWA: Admin, Customize Project Web Access, Gantt Chart formats;
results in a page that reads, "Specify the bar styles and timescale for Gantt
Charts". I would like to change the timescale and define the 'from'
specification for the summary task bar but I don't see any way to do either.

Help appreciated

The text at the top of the page is a mistake. You can only define Gantt
Chart styles on this page and cannot specify timescale settings. Hope this
helps.

Disappointing, but I appreciate your answer. At least I won'twaste any time
trying. Any idea whether it is possible to change the 'from' parameter on a
gantt task bar?

When you create a custom Gantt Chart format in PWA, you simply do not have
the flexibility to define the Gantt Chart the way you can do in Microsoft
Project. Unfortunately, in the custom Gantt Chart format in PWA, you cannot
change the "From" and "To" parameters for Gantt bars. Sorry.

Thanks. I demo'd my 'dashboard' to the Execs that I'm working for yesterday
and was asked these questioned as I'd anticipated. I'll just have to use some
work-arounds. BTW I have gotten 'lights' to be blank, red, green, etc. as
well as the summary task to reflect if there are any red lights in the sub
tasks. An improvement on MSP's status indicators which don't work so well for
the summary task.
