Custom Dictionary not available

Hallo,

When I start spelling checker I always get the error-message custom dictionary not available. But I am sure I have set up it in preferences>spelling_and_grammer>.

What is going wrong?

Is the Custom dictionary selected when you click on the Dictionaries button
in the Word\Preferences\Spelling and Grammar dialog?

I've had that a couple of times in the past. I tried to open the
dictioanry in BBEdit and it appeared to be completely messed-up.

Could you try opening it in Word to see how it looks like??
