Custom Dictionary

Downloaded technical dictionary files and try to use it
in word 2000 (on Dell Laptop Win XP Prof) but doesn't
work. Installed the custom dic as per Word Help but
whenever I try to do spellcheck I get the error "The
custom dictionary c:\Documents and settings\.... is not
available. Any suggestions?

If the file is not a line-delimited text file then it is not a customary
dictionary. You'll have to supply some details about the files.
