Custom Enterprise Fields Not Matching in 2007

I've defined a Custom Enterprise Field in PWA I've called Asset Bucket. I
then added that column to the Enterprise Global Template by checking it out,
changing it, checking it in and then restarting MS Project Pro 2007.

I then added the Asset Bucket field to the May Assignments View in PWA.

I then created a new project by choosing New from the Project Center and
added a task in that had some text in the Asset Bucket Field.

I then saved and then published the Project and then went to My Assignments
(I assigned the task to myself) to see the task. All the information is
there on the Task, except the text under the Asset Bucket column (the column
is there). So I edited the task in PWA and put text into the Asset Bucket
column and Saved and Submitted the Change.

After loading the Project File and accepting the change, which is there in
the Web Window that shows up, the column is then unchanged once the changes
are processed and the Project File loads.

I've re-installed Project a couple of times, made sure that all the
Global.MPTs were deleted and I am still having the problem.

Can anyone think of what I might be doing wrong? Is there a Global.MPT on
the server that might be worth "re-setting"?
