custom field - display

Hello,

I'm interested in how can I display a custom field (type:number) in such
format: 563.563 or 563,563 now in the application is like this: 563563 and is
hard to read it.
It is possible?

You are limited on how numbers are displayed. One way around this is to use
a text field instead.

Oh, and one more thing... Do you really have 6 digits of precision in any
schedule related number?
With that many significant digits you are distinguishing one part in a
million.
I don't think any project estimations or project recording methods are
anywhere near that precise.

Thanks a lot! A text field will resolve my problem. IT's not about precision.
The users have a field like "buget" and is hard to read it if the digits
aren't separated.

I think that a cost type will resolve my problem and the field will have
consistency if is used in data analysis.
