If the custom field is a user-entered Project field that will appear in the
Project Center and detailed Project views in PWA, you will need to ask your
project managers to open each of their projects and complete these steps:
1. Click Project - Project Information
2. Select an appropriate value in the new field and click OK
3. Click Collaborate - Publish - All Information
If the custom field is a user-entered Task field that will appear in
detailed Project views in PWA, you will need to ask your project managers to
open each of their projects and complete these steps:
1. Select an appropriate value in the new field for each task in the
project
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - All Information
If the new field is a calculated Project field or Task field, you will need
to ask your project managers to open each of their projects and complete
these steps:
1. Press the F9 function key to recalculate the project
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - All Information
If the new field will appear on each resource's Timesheet page in PWA, you
will need to ask your project managers to open each of their projects and
complete these steps:
1. Click Tools - Customize - Published Fields
2. Select the new field and add it to the list of published fields
3. Select the "Let resource change field" option if team members need to
enter a value in this field
4. Click OK
5. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
