Custom Field Value Description displays

Hello

Going into PWA i receive an error related to a .ocx file - i followed the
instructions i found in this forum but now by views display the description
of the Custom lookup value instead of the value. I say references to other
posting indicating a solution but i can't location them can someone assista
please.
