Custom Fields – formula editor – OK button problem

Tools / Customize / Fields / Formula for …

The OK button on this screen does not work. After entering a formula and
trying to save the formula, the OK button does not do anything. It does not
matter if the formula has obvious errors or is correct. The form does not
close.

The only way to get out of the screen is by pressing the CANCEL button or
ESC key.
Customized Lookups and Graphical Indicators work fine.

Tried the same thing on another PC and it works.
Tried to open a project file with existing formulas on the problem PC and
the formula editor does not display the formulas.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like an issue with the installation.
Go to Add remove programs and see if the "repair" option helps. Otherwise
try a reinstall.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately repair nor reinstall of Project
solved the problem.

I went one step further and uninstalled Office and Project completely and
reinstalled them. First Office 2000 SP3 and then MS Project 2007 Standard on
top of it.

The result is the same. The OK button still doesn't work on the formula
screen.
