Problem with graphical indicators again PS2007

Hi-

Once again, I'm struggling with the graphical indicators not showing up
problem. Looking for any input on how to work-around this problem. This
time:

1) Created Task Level Custom Fields (formula and list types)
2) Input the graphical indicators; checked "inherit... " button
3) Open PP/Open Project/F9/Publish (indicators do show in PP)
4) Created views in PWA with the custom fields included
5) Graphical indicators do not show in the PWA views
6) If I remove the graphical indicators from the Custom Field, the text
does not show in the PWA views either

Any feedback is much appreciated-

Are you on SP1? Have you installed any hotfixes?

Yes on SP1. My client did the install of their hardware/software, so I'm not
sure on the hotfixes. Is there one in particular I should recommend to them?

update: The graphical indicators do not show up in an Assignments report,
but they do show up in a Tasks report...

Beth,

Can you verify again what your settings are for the graphical indicators for
the 3 dropdown values:
non-summary rows
project summary rows
summary rows

Also, can you verify that graphical indicators do show up in the Task Usage
or Resource Usage view at the assignment level? If they don't show up at
the assignment level in Project Pro, they definitely won't show up at the
View Assignments level in PWA.

I have just verified that graphical indicators for custom task fields
(enterprise or local) can only be applied to the task level (not the
assignment level) in Project Professional.

Therefore, I am not aware of a way to display graphical indicators at the
assignment level in PWA or Project Professional.
