Custom Fields PV and EV hours columns

Hi Everyone

I have a question that I'm absolutely stumped on. This has to do with the
hotfix that MSP put in place for the Cost & Schedule Add on. I have a
project that is showing the PV hours and the EV hours as the same. I was
wondering if anyone can help me determine why these two values would be
reflecting the same. Thanks Pearl

PV is the Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled and EV is the Budgeted Cost
of Work Performed. If you are working exactly to plan and met all you
estimates exactly, in other words a perfect execution of a perfect
plan, then these match. If you planned to get 50 widgets complete each
of the next two weeks, and at the end of two weeks you have 100
widgets done, then PV=EV.
